I’m currently working on a dissertation about the history of birth certificates and compulsory birth registration in the United States, to be completed in 2012. Selected portions of my research are available at my Talks page.
My master’s thesis, “‘In Los Alamos, I feel like I’m a real citizen’: Black atomic scientists, education, and citizenship, 1945-1960,” was completed in 2005.
